Yin Yoga, with its lineage in Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a relaxing, quiet practice of stretching the body and its fascia (connective tissue around the muscles). This is a relaxing practiyes that consists of holding positions for 3-7 minutes. This workshop will consist of twists, forward bends, back bends, hip openings, and some gentle, relaxing inversions. You will always have options to minimize sensation as well as for deeper fascia release. We will practice breathing techniques as tools to focus and still the mind, ending with a long relaxation.
