This workshop focuses on four cornerstone inversion families in the Iyengar tradition—each with its own foundation, technique, and set of skills:
Arm balances (hands as the base): Build wrist/shoulder stability, core integration, and clear “stacking” so you can lift with control instead of momentum. Expect progressive drills and accessible variations.
Elbow balance (forearms as the base): Develop shoulder strength and mobility, learn how to organize your ribcage and pelvis, and work with wall-supported progressions to refine alignment and confidence.
Headstand (Sirsasana): Learn safe setup, load management, and how to create lift through the legs and core so the pose is stable and sustainable—not compressed.
Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana): Practice the classic Iyengar approach to shoulderstand and its variations, emphasizing shoulder support, neck safety, and steady breath.
